The studio
We are a small firm. By choice, by temperament, and because care doesn't scale. Four core people hold the center; a trusted network expands and contracts around the work.
Most of what we ship is something we wanted to exist. We were founded in 1999 — through several names, several offices, and a few disciplines — and still work like a studio: close to the problem, close to the code, and careful about what we take on.
The team
Started the studio in 1999. Writes most of the code and design, and most of the AI. Lives in Aguada with too many animals.
Brand new to the team and already holding the edges together: calendars, details, and keeping us moving.
Handles finance, operations, and the audits nobody volunteers for. Keeps the business side of the studio as tight as the code.
Runs paid media when the work calls for it, and is moving deeper into AI automation for teams that need sharper systems.
Where we are
The studio is anchored in Aguada, Puerto Rico, but the team is distributed by design. Justin and Vera are in Puerto Rico, Edgar moves between Puerto Vallarta and Chicago, and Charlie works from the UK.
We work async-first across time zones, with enough overlap to move quickly and enough quiet to do deep work. When a project needs more hands, the network expands around it.
