Basic Online Growth Program Agreement

OVERVIEW

Many small and mid-sized businesses struggle with mastering online marketing. Without the ability to hire dedicated and talented full time staff to manage their online marketing needs, they end up relying on untrained staff or low cost freelancers. Unfortunately, this usually means that the online marketing for the business is not being executed in a way that achieves the best possible results.

Pirate & Fox’s Basic Online Growth Program was designed to fill the gap for small business who are ready to get serious online but aren’t yet ready for a full-time staff member to dedicate to their online management.

In this exclusive program, which is limited to 20 people per year, you work directly with our CEO Justin Handley to plan and execute an online marketing plan. This plan is designed both to bring you a basic level growth across the first year, but also to set you up with systems and methods so that at the end of the program you are more likely to be able to maintain ab basic steady growth moving into the future.

WHAT WE BRING TO THE TABLE

Justin Handley will be your primary contact and account manager for the entire year. He brings to the table 18 years of online marketing experience from a very well rounded perspective. He has been part of taking over 10 online businesses across the 7-figure mark and has been a founding member of 3 online businesses that went from zero to over 1 million per year in less than 12 months. Being a ‘solopreneur’ he brings a uniquely well rounded skill set to the table, with a deep understanding of programming, SEO, copywriting, design, and marketing automation.

While Justin will be your primary contact, he is backed by a team of excellent project managers, programmers, writers, and designers that can help execute any campaigns you come up with. These services may be included as part of your contract, or if you make plans that require more time than this contract covers, you are given full access to our team at the lowest hourly prices we offer to get any further work done.

This program provides a basic balance of consulting, planning, and execution By letting you use the same team that Justin uses to build his own companies, you get a spectrum of abilities, and a seasoned team that are used to working together to bring close to 100 projects per year to life.

 

1.- WHAT YOU GET

This program is designed to be flexible for each client, and we don’t like to box ourselves into a service agreement that will cause you to get less than you deserve. We reserve the right to provide more than is agreed to here. However, as a minimum agreement, you will get

  • 2 total hours per month of consulting, design, and execution services
  • 1 phone call per month of dedicated consulting / planning time with Justin
  • Direct access to Justin via email, phone, and Skype for on the fly questions
  • The ability to access Justin’s calendar and schedule time as needed

At our discretion, and depending on what your projects involve, we may choose to substitute more hours by employees with a lower hourly rate. For example, if your main need is getting a blog written on a biweekly basis, we can provide a writer for that who can do three to four hours of writing in lieu of higher end consulting. Since this is impossible to quantify in a contract and may change on a month to month basis, the contract reflects the above minimum service agreement.

During the allocated time, we can work on…

  • Setting up tracking systems so we can measure real results
  • Creating new advertising efforts
  • Setting up free or paid online marketing campaigns
  • Coming up with a social media strategy & executing
  • Creating / editing your website
  • Integrating your systems
  • Building out marketing automation in the tools of your choice (we are most familiar with Infusionsoft and Active Campaign, but have done custom integrations with Salesforce and many other more basic email providers)
  • Reviewing your SEO, and coming up with a strategy for long term success
  • And of course, working together to identify which of these efforts will make the most impact in the shortest amount of time, so we know where to start.

We will also, throughout the process, be providing documentation on the processes we create, templates you can use for future work, and a review of analytics to reflect on real results that we are generating.

 

2.- INVESTMENT

The cost of this program is designed to make it affordable to businesses that aren’t ready for a full-time employee but carry a small budget to ensure we can make a positive impact on your business in the time we have.

The cost of the program is $2,400 for one year of service. This can be paid in installments of $200 per month. The initial month is required immediately to secure your spot in the program. The following payments will be automatically deducted on the start date of the consulting program.

In addition, if work beyond the terms of this contract is requested from our team (for example the rebuild of an entire website on a short turnaround, or the design and release of a new web project, or the setup of a mobile app) you will be quoted at our current rate of currently $75 / hour and which is invoiced by the minute ($1.25 per minute).

This contract is for the term of a year. Many people underestimate the amount of time to enact real change in a business. We find that in a year we have enough time to make a significant impact and there is enough time to allow that impact to be measurable so that the value of the service is clear.

Our goal is to make sure that in the first year our program more than pays for itself, but to do that, we need your commitment for the full duration of the year as well.

 

3.- NEXT STEPS

To sign up for this program, it is required take the following steps:
Sign and return this document to Web Mission Control Inc
Pay the initial installment of $200.00 to secure your spot.

Once these steps have been completed we will begin the consulting process with an introduction of all relevant people and begin the discovery process.

 

4.- MUTUAL AGREEMENT

Between us, Web Mission Control, Inc DBA Pirate & Fox and you the client (as provided on form).

Summary
We will always do our best to fulfil your needs and meet your goals, but sometimes it’s best to have a few things written down so that we both know what’s what, who should do what and what happens if stuff goes wrong. In this contract, you won’t find complicated legal terms or long passages of unreadable text. We have no desire to trick you into signing something that you might later regret. We do want what’s best for the safety of both parties, now and in the future.

In short
You (the client) are hiring us Web Mission Control, Inc DBA Pirate & Fox located at PO Box 870, Rincon PR 00677 to provide ongoing website consulting and production services as outlined in our proposal. Of course, it’s a little more complicated, but we’ll get to that.

What Do Both Parties Agree to Do?
As our client, you have the power and ability to enter into this contract on behalf of your company or organization. You agree to provide us with everything that we’ll need to do our job effectively – including text, images and other information – as and when we need it and in the format we ask for. You agree to review our work, provide feedback and approval in a timely manner too. Deadlines work two ways and you’ll also be bound by any dates that we set together. You also agree to stick to the payment schedule set out in this contract.

We have the experience and ability to perform the services you need from us and we will carry them out in a professional and timely manner. Along the way, we will endeavor to meet all the deadlines set but we can’t be responsible for a missed launch date or a deadline if you have been late in supplying materials or have not approved or signed off our work on-time at any stage. On top of this we’ll also maintain the confidentiality of any information that you give us.

Legal stuff
We can’t guarantee that the functions contained in any web page templates or in a completed website will always be error-free and so we can’t be liable to you or any third party for damages, including lost profits, lost savings or other incidental, consequential or special damages arising out of the operation of or inability to operate this website and any other web pages, even if you have advised us of the possibilities of such damages. If any provision of this agreement shall be unlawful, void, or for any reason unenforceable, then that provision shall be deemed severable from this agreement and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions.

Payments
The initial payment is required to hold your spot, on execution of this contract. Further payments will be deducted from a card on file monthly on a date we agree to in our initial consultation.

But where’s all the horrible small print?

Just like a parking ticket, you can’t transfer this contract to anyone else without our permission. This contract stays in place and need not be renewed. If for some reason one part of this contract becomes invalid or unenforceable, the remaining parts of it remain in place. Although the language is simple, the intentions are serious and this contract is a legal document under exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Puerto Rico.
